A very unexpected night with David Copperfield!

My wife and I had a wonderful night as David Copperfield’s guest to his Las Vegas show. This is the 3rd time that I’ve seen the show; the 1st was in Pasadena, California as a birthday gift from my mom and 2nd in Fort Smith, Arkansas with my best friends. Needless to say we were very excited to see what his Vegas show had in store. We couldn’t have asked for better seats sitting dead center from the comfort of what we were told was David’s very own private booth. In addition the friendly wait staff stood ready to bring whatever drinks and snacks your heart desired.
The show was excellent as always and no I’m not David’s new best friend. I actually won the tickets (I never win anything) on twitter; that alone is funny because I hate twitter plus I’m technologically challenged. David tweeted a contest that required a picture of me on the Vegas strip. My lovely wife came to my rescue and quickly got the picture posted to Copperfield’s twitter account and we won two tickets if we could just get there in 25 minutes. We scrambled to get ready, as we were all ready for bed, and run out the door. With my shoes and shirt in hand I completed my quick change in the car. We arrived just in time but the box office line was held up! When we finally got to the ticket booth the lady looked at me like I was nuts and she couldn’t find my tickets.  I told her it was a twitter competition, she had no clue what I was talking about, with all her looking and searching and holding my phone looking at my twitter she finally said OH! You’re sitting in David’s private booth.

Wow, what a night!
